A lawsuit over Second Life genitalia has finally been settled, so breathe easier, MMO fans.
At issue: Eros LLC. scripts that give avatars genitals and allow them to have sexual congress with other avatars. Apparently, Robert Leatherwood, 19, bought some junk, copied the code and began selling it himself.
"I did it in private," he said. "I wasn't out to do a huge market thing. I was doing it for a little bit of money." He said he doesn't play Second Life anymore and called the case "ridiculous."
The settlement doesn't involve money or an admission of wrongdoing from Leatherwood.
